The recalled beef was not inspected by the United States, according to the the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Florida company recalling almost 30,000 pounds of raw beef
Corte Argentino is “recalling approximately 29,628 pounds of raw beef products that were imported from Argentina,” FSIS announced Aug. 7.
Where was recalled beef sold?
The beef was sold between May 15 and May 20 and have use or freeze-by dates between Sept. 5 and Sept. 20.
The beef was distributed to distributors and retailers in Florida and Texas, according to the USDA.
Why did Corte Argentino of Florida recall raw beef?
The beef was imported from Argentina without the benefit of import reinspection into the United States, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Aug. 7.
“The problem was discovered during routine FSIS inspection activities.”
How do I know if I have any of the recalled beef?

The products being recalled have an Argentinian establishment number “EST. N° OF. 2025” and shipping mark “26644-AA.”
Has anyone gotten ill from consuming the recalled beef from Corte Argentino?
The Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said there have no confirmed reports of illness or injury from anyone consuming the recalled beef.
What should I do if I bought the beef that’s been recalled?
“FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators and freezers.
“Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.”
