Season is in full swing, and there’s plenty to do in Southwest Florida including concerts, plays, comedy and more in February.

GENERAL EVENTS

Naples Winter Wine Festival: Enjoy three days of delicious food and wine to benefit children in need. Proceeds from the Festival benefit the Naples Children & Education Foundation. Jan. 30-Feb. 1 based at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. 2600 Tiburon Dr, Naples. napleswinefestival.com.

Night Sky Experience: Head to Fakahatchee Strand Preserve on Feb. 7 for this unique tour that begins at 6:15 p.m. Program offers participants the chance to experience and photograph the nighttime sky in one of the darkest places in southwest Florida. The night sky sessions offer access to the Preserve after business hours to experts and amateurs along with folks who just want to gaze at the millions of stars. Everglades Seafood Festival: The Florida Stone Crabbers Association presents the 56th annual festival in Everglades City from Feb. 13-15 at 102 Copeland Ave. N., Everglades City. Kicking off festivities from 4-10:30 p.m. on Friday, attendees are able to gain free admission for the evening by donating canned foods. Adult admission on Saturday (10 a.m.-10 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m.-6 p.m.) are a $10 minimum donation per adult. More at evergladesseafoodfestival.org.

Friday morning tram tours: Explore the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, the largest state park in Florida, in February and March. The 2½-hour tram tour, which begins at 9:30 a.m., highlights significant aspects of the Preserve that have been safeguarded from real estate development since 1974. Bonita Brew Fest: Enjoy craft brews from Florida and beyond at the 10th annual event at Riverside Park, 10450 Reynolds St., Bonita Springs. The festival is 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21. Expect unlimited sampling of over 200 beers, live music, local food vendors, and more. General admission tickets are $64 and include unlimited sampling and VIP tickets available. Designated driver tickets are available for $23 and you must accompany a general admission or VIP attendee to purchase this type of ticket. Only 1,800 general admission and 150 VIP tickets will be sold this year. You can purchase tickets by visiting BonitaBrewFest.com.

West Coast Muscle Car Club: Its 22nd annual car show is a fun day filled with one-of-a-kind vehicles, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Avow Kids. From 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, enjoy more than 300 vintage, new and custom cars, family-friendly activities and food vendors at North Collier Regional Park, 15000 Livingston Road, Naples.

Florida Everblades: Southwest Florida’s local hockey team is back for another season at Hertz Arena, 11000 Everblades Parkway, Estero. Visit hertzarena.com for tickets and availability.

ART EXHIBITIONS

Joan Miró: Fire in the Soul: This collection of Miró’s pieces ranges from graphic to vibrant and dreamlike. Admire his symbolic imagery and spiritual undertones now through April 4 at Naples Art Institute, 585 Park St., Naples. Admission is $15 for non-members and is free for those under the age of 18. naplesart.org. 

Art After Hours at The Baker Museum: On the third Wednesday of each month, guests can enjoy free admission to all museum exhibitions from 6-9 p.m. There will also be live music by local musicians and concessions at Heidi’s Place.
