An overnight fatal crash has closed all southbound lanes on Interstate 75 early May 12, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Another crash on the interstate near the site of the fatal crash also was reported.
Avoid I-75 in the area to prevent delays in your morning commute.

Fatal crash closes I-75 in Sumter County
The Florida Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash on I-75 about 11:30 p.m. May 11.
The multi-vehicle crash happened in the southbound lanes at mile marker 326 near Wildwood, according to FL511.

All southbound lanes on I-75 remained blocked near Wildwood at 4:30 a.m., nearly five hours after the FHP responded to the scene of the fatal crash.
Cameras show traffic backed up on the interstate at Exit 329 at State Road 44.
Earlier crash blocked lanes on I-75 near scene of fatal crash
About an hour prior to the fatal crash on I-75 at mile marker 326 near Wildwood, the FHP responded to another crash.
Reported shortly before 10:30 p.m. May 11, that crash also happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 but at mile marker 325 near Coleman.
That crash also involved roadblocks, according to the FHP.
