Southwest Florida snowbird celebrity Judith Sheindlin, better known by her TV name “Judge Judy”, recently made a ruling on living in Naples.
Realtor.com reported on its website Dec. 30, 2025 that Sheindlin’s lavish Bay Colony Shores mansion has been sold.
It was reported in a story in The News-Press in December of 2015 that Sheindlin purchased the six-bed, 11-bath property for $8.6 million to give her more room for her dogs and visiting family.
She previously owned a 16th-floor Naples penthouse condo.
According to the realtor.com story the 10,607-square-foot property was listed in August 2025 for $10.49 million but a price drop of nearly $1 million was made in order to secure a buyer.
The News-Press story in 2015 reported Sheindlin and her husband enjoyed wintering in Naples since 1999. The TV show was in its glory when they arrived, and so was her first book, “Don’t Pee on My Leg and Tell Me It’s Raining” (The title came from one of the zingers she delivers non-stop with every episode.)
Eventually the couple plunked down $6.9 million for a Bay Colony condo, The condo was listed $11 million, just slightly below appraised value at the time.
The house is located in the Pelican Bay neighborhood in Naples. Amenities include: Beach access, private club membership, tennis court, private pool/spa, built-in grill and an outdoor kitchen. There’s also a lake view.
