Whether you swear by tangy barbecue, buttery garlic parm or sauce that leaves your eyes watering, the area’s best wings are about to take center stage in Daytona Beach.
This weekend, guests are invited to attend the second annual Daytona Beach Wing Battle, where unlimited tastings, drinks and live music will set the stage for Volusia’s most anticipated wing showdown of the year.
Hosted by Melbourne-based Battle Bros Events, the outdoor bash will take place July 25 from 6 – 10 p.m. at the Tanger Outlets, located at 1100 Cornerstone Blvd. in Daytona Beach, and conclude with the crowning of this year’s 2026 Daytona Wing Battle champion.
What is the Daytona Beach Wing Battle?
The one-day, all-inclusive event, which features more than 20 wing and dessert vendors, is open to guests 21 and older and is priced at $50 per person for general admission tickets (7–10 p.m.) and $70 per person for VIP early access (6 –10 p.m.), according to the official Battle Bros Events website. A valid ID is required for entry.
While both tickets provide unlimited wing samplings, unlimited domestic beers and hard seltzers and access to the event’s game area, VIP ticket holders can look forward to first dibs on samplings and shorter lines, as well as local craft draft beers, liquor and cocktails.
The annual foodie competition will feature wings from a range of vendors, including several local favorites like Unruly Coolie, Euphoria Bar & Grill, BB.Q Chicken and Happy Pappy’s Pizza n Wings, its website shows.
A branded token will be given to attendees upon arrival, which will be used to vote for their favorite wings during the “People’s Choice” portion of the event’s competition.
A vetted panel of four judges, including local foodie Tricia Phillippi, founder of the popular local Facebook group, “Foodie Reviews 386,” and Chef Count Foreman of Daytona’s Saute Kingz, will ultimately complete a blind taste test to determine this year’s official Wing Battle champion.
Each wing will be scored based on three main categories, including taste, quality and overall opinion (presentation, creativity, etc.), according to the event listing.

Beyond providing sauced wings and friendly competition, the local event will keep the party going with a lively game area featuring a mechanical bull, axe throwing, cornhole, beer pong and other activities, as well as live performances from musical guest The Hot Seat, a South Florida-based alternative rock group.
Those with a sweet tooth will find desserts for purchase from Tennesteve Treats and The Cheesecake man, among other vendors, according to its website, and can look forward to a mini, on-site marketplace where guests can browse vendors like Liv’s Gourmet Pickles and Dragon Flame Bakery.
In alignment with Battle Bros Events’ efforts to uplift various nonprofit organizations, the July 25 event will support Live Inspired Brevard, a 2024-founded nonprofit with “a mission to connect, support, educate and empower underserved or disadvantaged people affected by chronic health conditions” its website states.
