Florida State made an offer to four-star defensive lineman Deuce Geralds nearly a year ago in May of 2024. After scheduling multiple spring visits, Geralds made his first trip to Tallahassee during the Seminoles Legacy Weekend on March 22.
Geralds currently has an unreal 55 scholarship offers. However, he has narrowed his list of contenders down to 10, and FSU made the cut.
On3’s industry rankings have Geralds as the nation’s No. 75 overall recruit and the No. 5 defensive lineman. The 6-foot-2, 275-pounder has also been deemed the No. 8 prospect from the state of Georgia.
When looking at his production, it’s easy to understand why so many schools have an interest in Geralds. He’s registered double-digit sacks every season on the high school level with his 13 in 2024 earning him MaxPreps Junior All-American Team honors.
Geralds will be back to visit Florida State on April 8. Getting multiple trips locked in this close together is a good sign for the Seminoles, and they need to keep that momentum going.
