The Miami Dolphins entered the 2026 NFL draft with 10 picks, including two in the first round at Nos. 11 and 30 on Thursday. However, Miami made a trade early on to get more picks.
According to several reporters, the Dolphins traded with the Dallas Cowboys, sending No. 11 to Dallas for Nos. 12, 177 and 180.
With pick No. 11, the Cowboys took Ohio State safety Caleb Downs, leaving the Dolphins with plenty of interesting options at No. 12. Plus, they’ll be able to get two more players on Day 3.
