Miami Dolphins center Aaron Brewer had a strong 2025 campaign, starting 16 games and earning an 87.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus, good for second among 40 qualified centers last year.
For his efforts, Brewer was named second-team All-Pro, which was the first honor he’s received in his six seasons. Miami rewarded the center with a three-year, $52.5 million extension with $37 million guaranteed.
Now, as Brewer gears up for his third season in South Florida with more money in his bank account than he could’ve dreamed of, he has some specific goals in mind for the season.
“I said where to go from here now is to be the absolute best and get to the point where it’s unquestioned,” Brewer recently told Dolphins team reporter Travis Wingfield. “Last year, second-team All-Pro. This year, I need to go for first-team All-Pro. Last year, I didn’t make the Pro Bowl, not an alternate, not second, not first, so that’s the goal this year. I was a nominee for Protector of the Year last year; this year, it’s to actually get that award and also have another guy on the offensive line be a nominee for the Protector of the Year.”
The Dolphins don’t have many positive things going for them as they gear up for training camp, but Brewer is a bright spot that they should be able to rely on for years to come.
