Dolphins brought in national championship RB for workout

The Miami Dolphins have a strong running back room led by the recently-extended De’Von Achane, Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon II.

However, after undrafted rookie Le’Veon Moss surprisingly retired before Miami’s organized team activities, the Dolphins are looking to add more depth at the position.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Dolphins hosted Zamir White for a workout last week to potentially fill a role.

White, 26, played at Georgia from 2018-21, winning a national championship in his final season. The Las Vegas Raiders took him in the fourth round (No. 122 overall) of the 2022 NFL draft.

In four years with the Raiders, White appeared in 45 games and rushed for 736 yards and two touchdowns on 3.7 yards per attempt. He also caught 25 passes for 152 yards. Last year, he returned 11 kicks for 26.7 yards per attempt.
