With a $20 million purse on the line, the Travelers Championship is back.
One of the PGA Tour’s Signature Events, the Travelers Championship is a longstanding stop at TPC River Highlands. As a no-cut tournament, all 72 competitors will play the par-70 course. The defending champion entering 2026 is Keegan Bradley.
Players like 2026 U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick, and more will star in the tournament. The only big name that has chosen to sit this week out is Rory McIlroy.
What is the cut line?
The Travelers Championship doesn’t have it, but what even is a cut line? Normally, tournaments have a 36-hole cut as they head into the final rounds. The top 70 players, including ties, qualify for the final two rounds after the cut. The Travelers Championship is one of the eight PGA Tournament Signature Events that does not have one. This means there are more competitive entry requirements as there are fewer players.
What other tournaments have no cuts?
Here is a list of the eight other PGA Tournament Signature Events and FedEx Cup Playoffs that follow the no cut rules.
