“Your change will make a change in children’s lives,” said Mary Jane Ross of CIC.

Over a two-week period, jugs were placed around the school where the children and staff could drop their pocket change.

“All the money stays right here,” Ross said, noting the monies collected will stay in the counties served by the local CIC, such as Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Escambia and Walton counties.

Children in Crisis is a nonprofit organization devoted to providing stable homes and fostering hope for children in need.
