Declan Rice scores early World Cup goal vs. France in Miami

MIAMI GARDENS — England’s Declan Rice is on the scoresheet early in South Florida’s final World Cup match.

Rice has come under criticism in the English press after the “Three Lions” lost 2-1 to Argentina in the World Cup semifinals on Wednesday, July 15.

Scottish pundit Graeme Souness questioned whether Rice was truly a midfielder or would be better off playing in an entirely defensive role as a center back.
