(This story has been updated with a new opening date)
Dave’s Hot Chicken is bringing the heat to Brevard County and has revealed the opening date for its first-ever location on the Space Coast.
Starting Thursday, Dec. 18, Dave’s Hot Chicken will be open daily, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at 2105 Viera Blvd, near the Home Depot in the Crossings at Viera.
What’s on the menu?
Spicy chicken, of course. Actually, guests can choose Nashville-style chicken tenders or sliders with seven different spice levels, from no spice to reaper, which requires patrons to sign a waiver warning of the extreme heat.
They also serve loaded fries, mac & cheese, kale slaw and desserts like slushies and milkshakes with nostalgic cereals.
More about Dave’s Hot Chicken
Founded in 2017 by four friends in East Hollywood, California, the company has grown from a pop-up operating with a portable fryer to a billion-dollar brand with nearly 300 locations worldwide.
Every Dave’s Hot Chicken location is decorated with bold street-art murals and has a fast-casual vibe.
And those seven spice levels? They’ve become a social media sensation, sparking fiery challenges online.
