NASCAR results for Naval Base Coronado race, full finishing order

Well, that was a first.

Naval Base Coronado, just off the coast of San Diego, provided the distinctive backdrop for June 21’s NASCAR Cup Series race, the Anduril 250. This was the first weekend the active military facility hosted professional racing events.

Its result was unique, too.

Shane van Gisbergen, NASCAR’s resident road king, was taken out by an early wreck. Corey Heim capitalized on the 3.4-mile street course, navigating its 16 turns and speeding into Victory Lane for the first time in the Cup Series. The 23-year-old 23XI driver finished ahead of runner-up Bubba Wallace and third-place Kyle Larson.
