Chick-fil-A's final Classic Cup launches next week. When to get it

Chick-fil-A is gearing up to release its final Classic Cup design next week. Fans will have until March 7 to grab the retro cup and enter the fast-food chain’s Gold Fan Cup contest, which awards winners with a year of free Chick-fil-A.

The launch of the Doodles Classic Cup on Jan. 5 kicked off Chick-fil-A’s limited-time $3.99 collector cup series. A new retro design was released every few weeks, leading up to the final cup—the Cow Billboard Cup featuring Chick-fil-A’s cows, which first appeared on “Eat Mor Chikin” billboards in 1995—is being rolled out Monday, Feb. 23.

Every time you purchase a Classic Cup, you have a chance to win a special Gold Fan Cup, which comes with a prize of 52 free entrées, one for each week of the year. The contest runs until July 1. Each cup is sold wrapped, so customers won’t know which one they purchased or if they’re winners until they remove the wrapper.

The cups are available while supplies last; some restaurants may have all four designs in stock (check your local restaurant for availability).

The Classic Cups and Golden Fan Cup promotion comes as Chick-fil-A celebrates its 80th anniversary. The fast-food chicken chain based in College Park, Georgia, is also selling new beverages and Specialty Plush Cow toys to commemorate the milestone.

Here’s how the Gold Fan Cup sweepstakes works.

How to win free Chick-fil-A for a year

To possibly win a year’s worth of free Chick-fil-A food, you must buy a Classic Cup. Each Classic Cup will be wrapped so customers can’t see the design.
