A luxury waterfront estate tucked away in Gulf Breeze could be one of the top home sales across Santa Rosa County in 2025.
Located at 204 Laura Lane on the Hoffman Bayou, the villa-style estate comes with eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, more than 14,000 square feet and a waterfront view.
The 27-year-old estate is listed on the market starting at $10 million, which would be the second-most-expensive home sale in the county this year if it closes at that figure. The most expensive home sold in Santa Rosa County this year, located on Peakes Point Drive, closed for $12.5 million at the end of May.
The owners of the Laura Lane home worked with local architectural firms to incorporate elements of both European and historic Pensacola architecture into the estate, creating a blend of artistry and luxury.
“I would describe it as timeless, because when you have those classic details they weather the course of time,” said Angela Cummins, a realtor with Linda Miller Real Estate and the listing agent on the sale. “It’s really quite a sight to behold, especially in our region. We call it the crown jewel of the Emerald Coast.”
This estate is equipped with a variety of custom features, ranging from the cherry cabinets in the kitchen to the Czech crystal chandeliers in its great hall.
The walls of the estate are adorned in a wide swath of colors – from light cream and salmon pink to emerald green and ruby red – that complement the custom details in its interior design and give each space its own unique feel.
The estate features multiple luxury amenities, such as its spa, a pool and even private potting room that can be used for gardening. The in-home spa retreat is located on the first floor and comes with its own bathroom, massage area and a built-in sauna.
On the second floor, inhabitants and their visitors will have multiple spacious bedrooms, a family room, an office space and access to a terrace with sweeping view of the estate grounds.
If guests prefer more privacy, the property features a guest house with two bedrooms of its own.
A pair of deep-water docks out back provide easy access to the water, and the Gulf is just minutes away from the estate.
The estate is situated in the back of its neighborhood on a nearly 3-acre parcel, offering a combination of privacy and value that’s hard to beat, according to Cummins.
“When you consider the price per square foot for Laura Lane is right at $700 a square foot, if you were to go to Delray or Palm Beach you’re looking at double or triple that to get into something that wouldn’t even have the same amount of acreage, or the amenities this property offers,” Cummins said.
Cummins, a longtime resident of the Panhandle who’s worked in the real estate industry for nearly a decade, believes that the multimillion estate sale could bolster Gulf Breeze’s emergence as an elite luxury real estate market in Florida.
“We don’t have the notoriety (of south Florida markets), but I believe as these landmark properties are selling and going on the market here that people are realizing the value that we offer,” Cummins said. “The lifestyle the Gulf Breeze/Pensacola area offers is very competitive in terms of what amenities the city has, beautiful restaurants, upscale entertainment, nightlife, all of those things, and the price is very reasonable.”
