Officials at the College of Central Florida announced in a press release that the school is offering the Gator Tracks Transfer Pathway, which is “designed for learners who want to earn an Associate in Arts degree at CF and then receive an expedited admissions decision from the University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.”
The release states that qualifying students interested in one of 20 eligible majors — including agricultural operations management, geomatics, entomology and nematology, and wildlife ecology and conservation — can work closely with a UF College of Agricultural and Life Sciences academic advisor while preparing to transition from an associate degree to a UF bachelor’s degree.
Kati Migliaccio, a dean at the UF College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, said in the release, “With Gator Tracks, we’re removing barriers and providing a clear, supported pathway for those students to achieve their academic goals.”
CF President Dr. Jim Henningsen said, “This new partnership with the University of Florida gives our students a guided pathway to set them up for success.”
Officials said more information about the Gator Tracks Transfer Pathway is available at CF.edu/GatorTracks.
