The celebration, presented by the Lee County Black History Society, included vendors, live entertainment, food trucks, a Kids’ Zone, a deejay, fireworks and more.

Observed on June 19, it is a federal holiday. The Fort Myers festival generally takes place on the Saturday before or after.
