A fully engulfed in flames White Ford Crown Victoria sedan is snarling traffic during the I-10 rush hour commute Thursday evening in Tallahassee.
The incident briefly closed down westbound lanes, but there is still “heavy backup,” according to Florida Highway Patrol corporal PJ Shaw. It snarled traffic from Exit 203 (SR-61/US-319/Thomasville Rd/Capital Cir) to mile marker 200. Currently, only the right lane is blocked.
“They’re cleaning it up now. Eastbound lanes are open, no injuries and the two guys in it were walking away from it,” she said.
As of 5:45 p.m., the Tallahassee Gridlock Guide shows traffic backed up for miles. To see the latest road conditions, traffic cameras and wrecks, visit https://data.tallahassee.com/tallahassee-gridlock-guide/.
