Region 2-1A final: No. 4 St. Edward’s 3, No. 2 Brevard HEAT 1

Brevard HEAT fell to St. Edward’s in four sets in the Region 2-1A final. Brooke Arce finished with 10 kills, 3 aces and three digs, Emily Livengood added 34 digs, three assists and two aces, Cambrya Walters had two aces and eight kills, and Anna Livengood ended the game with 38 assists and 23 digs for Brevard HEAT. The Firehawks finish their season with a record of 22-6 and as District 8-1A champions.
Region 3-2A final: No. 1 First Baptist Academy 3, No. 2 Holy Trinity 0

The Tigers dropped their regional final game on the road against the First Baptist Academy in straight sets. Holy Trinity ends the year with a 17-9 record and as District 10-2A champion.

Girls Golf
Cocoa Beach won the District 8-1A title after claiming first place with a team score of 346. St. Edward’s claimed second, and John Carroll and Holy Trinity tied for third place in team scoring. Cocoa Beach golfer Victoria Deese shot 77 to earn first place in the individual competition.
Lake Nona claimed first place at the District 6-3A tournament, while St. Cloud finished second and Viera placed third. Alexandra Snyder of Lake Nona shot 67 to place first in the individual standings. Viera’s Hannah Hall and Lake Nona’s Briel Royce both shot 70 to tie for second place.
Sebastian River finished in first place at the District 7-2A competition with a team total of 423. Satellite placed second, followed by Titusville in third. Sebastian River’s Adyson Millican shot 77 to finish first at the tournament.

At the District 7-2A tournament, Merritt Island won the district title with a team score of 324. Sebastian River placed second and Satellite claimed third place. Sebastian River’s Jaxson Weese shot 73 to win the individual title.
Morningside won the District 8-1A championship title. John Carroll earned second place and Edgewood finished third. Edgewood’s Cyrus Joseph and Morningside’s Jeremy Hsu shot 69 to tie for first place in the individual competition.
