Heading north this fall? Breeze Airways will soon offer new flights taking off from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport.
The airline will service new routes from FLL to Dayton, Ohio, starting on Oct. 9 and to Trenton, New Jersey, starting on Sept. 20. Fares start at $69 for one-way flights, which are available to book now. The Dayton flights are nonstop and will run on Mondays and Fridays. The Trenton flights will run on Thursdays and Sundays with one stop, but no change of plane, so travelers can stay onboard during the stop.
Breeze Airways will also start offering flights from PBI to Columbus, Ohio, and Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Dec. 17, according to an airport spokesperson.
“Coupled with its brand-new fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft and premium products like free family seating, fast onboard WiFi, preferred seat options, and no change or cancel fees, Breeze is making it nice to fly affordably,” reads a news release from the airline.
What is Breeze Airways?
Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers some routes formerly covered by Spirit Airlines, a budget airline that shut down in May. Breeze Airways grew the most out of any sizable airline for flights out of PBIA in 2025.
In April, 2% of PBI flights were from Breeze Airways, according to a PBI traffic report. They carried nearly 9,000 passengers to destinations such as Raleigh, North Carolina, and Richmond, Virginia.
The airline runs more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 91 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
