The FSU Seminoles just landed a major commitment in their 2027 recruiting class. Four-star running back Jayden Miles has pledged to the Seminoles, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Miles is the No. 373 overall recruit and the No. 27 running back per Rivals’ industry rankings. He’s also the No. 13 prospect in the state of Louisiana.
The Seminoles are now up to nine commitments for the 2027 cycle. Miles is the fourth blue-chip recruit that FSU has landed, along with safety Jernard Albright, linebacker Gregory Batson, and edge Anthony Cavallaro.
Miles was a very productive player as a junior at Baton Rouge Catholic High School. He registered 1,657 all-purpose yards and 24 touchdowns.
He officially visited FSU on May 29, which is when they gained momentum in his recruitment. He officially visited the Ohio State Buckeyes this past weekend, but the Seminoles were able to hold on and secure his commitment.
Back in May of 2024, Florida State was the first program to offer Miles. Other schools like the LSU Tigers, Auburn Tigers, and Texas Tech Red Raiders were so after Miles as well. However, running backs coach Kam Martin was able to secure the long-time target for the Seminoles.
