Blue-chip RB locks in official visit with Florida State

Blue-chip running back Jayden Miles is one of Florida State’s top targets in the 2027 cycle. Last month, he named FSU one of his top six schools.

Miles is now down to just four schools, and he’s also set official visits with each. He’ll start by taking an official visit to Florida State on May 29. The Ohio State Buckeyes will host Miles on June 5, LSU Tigers on June 12, and Kentucky Wildcats on June 19 per Sam Spiegelman of Rivals.

Miles spoke about what appeals him to the Seminoles.

“Knowing that Florida State is trying to get things back on track and that they view me as an important piece to help fix their needs at that position makes Florida State a real interesting option,” Miles said.

Miles is the No. 363 overall player in the nation and the No. 27 running back per the Rivals industry rankings. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder is also the No. 13 player in the state of Louisiana.

FSU offered Miles a scholarship in May of 2024. He attended their Elite Camp that June. However, his trip in May to Tallahassee will be his first since that one.

Miles has also set his commitment date for July 4. So, Florida State will have to pull out all of the stops on his official visit next month.
