The groundbreaking ceremony for Ocala’s BJ’s Wholesale Club occurred on May 27, according to a news release issued by the company.

Where’s the store? 7030 SW 59th Ave., Ocala.
What do we know about BJ’s Wholesale Club’s recent growth? According to the news release, the chain is adding new locations in Indiana, Kentucky and Florida for the current fiscal year. Company officials said it’s part of their plan to open 25 to 30 clubs every two years.
In Florida, aside from Ocala, stores will be in Lecanto and Port St. Lucie.
With these additions, there will be 46 BJ’s Wholesale Clubs in Florida, company officials said.
A few words from BJ’s Wholesale Club Executive Vice President Bill Werner: In the release, Werner is quoted a saying: “We are committed to growing our footprint in both new and existing markets to bring the value of a BJ’s Wholesale Club to even more members.”
What are some of BJ’s Wholesale Club’s features? The company says its store are “a true one-stop shop” offering fresh produce, “a full-service deli, fresh bakery items, household essentials, pet supplies, toys, consumer electronics, apparel and more.”
“Members can save up to 25% off grocery store prices every day,” the release says.
Also offered: curbside pickup, same-day delivery, ExpressPay and an on-site gas station with a savings program.
