Dressed to the nines in brightly colored clothes — with plenty of room to breathe in the South Florida heat — a flock of attendees of the annual Lilly Pulitzer-celebrating Pink Retreat recently took a bicycle tour of Palm Beach sights.
Led by Palm Beach E-Bike Rentals, the group of women hopped aboard classic cruiser-style bicycles to explore some of the island in style.
The Pink Retreat was June 11-14 with events in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Boynton Beach. For the first time, some of this year’s events were held at the renovated and reopened historic Sunset Lounge in West Palm Beach.
For the Friday morning bike tour, the group started in West Palm and traveled across the Royal Park Bridge. Stops on their tour included the clock tower at the ocean end of Worth Avenue, the Lake Trail and the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum.
They also pedaled to Bradley Park for a short pause and refreshments, then returned to West Palm Beach over the Flagler Memorial Bridge.
Hundreds of women travel from throughout the country and the world to attend each year’s Pink Retreat, which was created and is organized by Lilly Pulitzer lover Tosha Williams in partnership with Discover The Palm Beaches, Palm Beach County’s official tourism marketing organization.
The next Pink Retreat is scheduled for June 10-13, 2027, organizers announced.
