PANAMA CITY − Bay District Schools has announced the Bay Creative Collective, a districtwide showcase celebrating student creativity, innovation and achievement.
According to a BDS news release, the event took place on May 15-16 at 1110 W. 17th Street.
The Bay Creative Collective displayed outstanding student work and interactive displays representing a wide variety of programs and disciplines from kindergarten through 12th grade.
“Designed to celebrate the engaging and innovative learning experiences happening in Bay District Schools classrooms every day, the event also strengthened connections between schools, families, and the community,” the release says.
Attendees explored projects and performances highlighting STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts and math), Career and Technical Education, fine arts, digital media and other technical and creative programs taking place throughout Bay District Schools.
“The Bay Creative Collective is an opportunity for our students to shine and for our community to see the incredible talent, creativity, and innovation happening across our schools,” Superintendent Mark McQueen said in the release. “From engineering and technical programs to visual arts and creative design, this event reflects the many ways our students are learning, growing, and preparing for the future.”
