The Judicial Nominating Commission for the 10th Judicial Circuit is accepting applications for a judge position on the Highlands County Court. The vacancy arose with the retirement of Judge Anthony Ritenour.
Applicants must meet the qualifications for county court judges described in Florida Statutes and the Florida Constitution.
All applicants must submit unredacted and redacted applications, both in PDF format, to Commission Vice-Chair Tosha Cohen at tcohen@pd10.org. Personal information not subject to public disclosure, such as a Social Security number, will be redacted.
Applications are available at and may be downloaded from the Florida Bar’s website at www.floridabar.org, and the Office of the Governor. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Aug. 10.
