However, the rising Tocoi Creek High junior didn’t have enough in the tank to chase down winner Mingbo Jiang of Orlando on a low-scoring closing day.

Jiang, who opened the tournament on July 1 with a 63 at the Black Course, birdied four of his first six holes in the final round and went on to post a 65 and win the 16-18 division by two shots at 18-under-par 198.

Cameron Baez of Davenport (64), Shawn Coultoff of Winter Garden (67) and William Lisle of Bradenton (69) tied for second at 16-under, and Lisle won the boys 13-15 division by four shots over Kinnare, who had a 70 (12-under 204) that included two eagles, three birdies and five bogeys.

Kinnare and Cameron Reed of Ponte Vedra Beach tied for seventh in the 16-18 division. Brady Dougan of Jacksonville (71—214) was solo sixth and Maxwell Morgan of Jacksonville Beach (73—217) tied for ninth in the 13-15 division.

The low First Coast players in the girls 16-18 division were U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball teammates Sahana Chokshi of Jacksonville (72) and Sofia Rivera of St. Augustine (73). They tied for 13th at 2-over 218, nine shots behind winner Ana Boone of ChampionsGate (69—207).

Lily Chiang of Jacksonville (73—225) tied for 13th in the 13-15 division.
