Four family members, including a 4-year-old child and 4-month-old baby, were fatally shot at two separate locations in what police are calling an active investigation where no arrests have been made.
Plant City officers were called to a home May 3 where they found the two minors deceased. Their 28-year-old mother was taken to a hospital where she died. A third child was found at the home unharmed.
While investigating, officers were alerted to a second residence about a half mile away. There they found the 55-year-old mother of the 28-year-old mom dead from a gunshot wound.
Identities of the deceased have not been released.
Who killed a family of four in Plant City?
As of May 5, no arrests have been made, however, police said certain details about the case are being withheld.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them as information can be provided anonymously. Detectives are especially interested in surveillance or doorbell camera video from 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. May 3.
It’s believed during that time period, the mother walked with the three children from one home to the other.

Plant City is located in Hillsborough County, about 20 miles from Tampa.
