Florida State will have another busy Saturday as they’re hosting their third Junior Day event of the year. The talent on campus will be endless, and one the players that will be in attendance is 2028 athlete Deandra Andrews.
“I will be at Florida State University tomorrow,” said Andrews on social media.
FSU is one of 12 offers that Andrews has on the table as they extended one to him back in May. The Arkansas Razorbacks, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Pittsburgh Panthers, and Virginia Tech Hokies are some of the other schools that have offered Andrews.
Andrews is coming off a solid season for Thomas County Central High School in Georgia. He racked 28 tackles in total with 23 of them being of the solo variety. Also, Andrews contributed as a wide receiver for the Yellow Jackets, and helped them go 15-0 and win the Class 5A state championship.
When Andrews arrives in Tallahassee, it will be his first on campus, making this a very important visit for him. Florida State has already signed three-star edge Cam Brooks from Thomas County Central, and four-star wide receiver Jabari Watkins will also be on campus this weekend.
At the moment, Andrews doesn’t have a ranking on any major recruiting sites.
