2026 NFL Draft scouting report: Rahsul Faison, RB, South Carolina

It is never too early to begin watching prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft. General manager Jason Licht has made the draft the key cog in the machine for the Bucs in terms of roster building and transforming the team itself.

We are going to be covering every position in the draft, not all of them will be the Bucs’ needs necessarily. But of course, anything is possible for a team, and if not, they will be drafted by a division rival that the Bucs see twice a year.

For this report, we will be discussing a running back. While the team has Bucky Irving on the roster, they do have looming free agents in Rachaad White and Sean Tucker. It is a sneaky need for the team, but one that can be easily addressed in the draft.

With that in mind, here is our report on South Carolina’s Rahsul Faison.

Player Summary

The 2026 running back class has its fair share of players who excite evaluators, but the bulk are going to have to impress folks once they make it to the NFL. The biggest thing that puts Faison behind the proverbial 8-ball is his age. Being as old as he is when he gets to the NFL, he is not going to be able to develop much more, as he will be a finished product when he enters the league. However, his physical style and reliability as a pass protector could allow him to earn a spot on a roster. He doesn’t showcase much athleticism or promise in his overall game, but having a physical style is enough to get him in the door and hopefully earn a roster spot.
