PANAMA CITY BEACH — The Panama City Beach Parks & Recreation Department will host the 2025 Youth Fishing Rodeo at Frank Brown Park on Oct. 25.
The event will take place from 9 a.m.-noon at park’s fishing pond, 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway.
According to a press release, this beloved annual tradition is for kids ages 16 and younger. They will fish in a kid-friendly pond, compete for prizes and enjoy hot dogs courtesy of the local Optimist Club. Bay County Mosquito Control representatives will provide interactive lessons about the local ecosystem.
“This event is about creating joyful memories and fostering community,” Cheryl Joyner, Parks & Recreation director, said in the release. “We love watching kids light up with excitement when they reel in a fish — especially if it’s their very first catch.”
This event is free and open to the public. More information at www.pcbfl.gov.
