USC flips four-star offensive lineman Drew Fielder from Oregon

Another day, another new commit for USC. After picking up their first commit of the 2028 recruiting class on Friday, the Trojans added to their 2027 class on Saturday by flipping four-star offensive lineman Drew Fielder from Oregon.

Fielder is a Southern California product, currently playing at Servite High School in Anaheim. Rivals’s industry ranking has him as the No. 131 overall player and the No. 14 offensive tackle in his class, as well as the No. 14 player in the state of California.

Fielder had been committed to Oregon since February. In recent weeks, however, momentum began building up for USC to flip him, with it ultimately happening on Saturday.

Fielder’s flip continues what has been a hot recruiting rivalry between the Trojans and the Ducks. The two West Coast schools have established themselves as two of the top recruiting programs in the country, and frequently find themselves battling it out for the same players. Expect the two schools to continue to battle it out for more recruits as the 2027 cycle moves forward.
