UCLA baseball fans finally cracked the 1,000 jello shot threshold. That said, the Bruins still sit firmly in last place. The Bruins had a busy day in the College World Series on Tuesday but they entered the day in last place of Rocco’s Jello Shot Challenge through Monday’s rankings.
UCLA had a long day, literally and figuratively, on Tuesday in Omaha. The Bruins took the field just after 10 a.m. local time in Omaha. They completed a previously suspended game against LSU and lost, 9-5. The Bruins, as a consequence of losing, had to come back later on Tuesday and play an elimination game versus Arkansas. The Bruins fell behind 7-0, so when they rallied for three runs in the ninth, they still didn’t have enough runs to keep their season going. They lost 7-3 to the Razorbacks and were eliminated, giving UCLA fans no more time to build up a bigger number in the Rocco’s Jello Shot Challenge. Here is one last look at the leaderboard as the Bruins exit Omaha:
No. 1 LSU
17,746 Shots
No. 2 Murray State
7,293 Shots
No. 3 Arkansas
6,675 Shots
No. 4 Coastal Carolina
4,521 Shots
No. 5 Arizona
1,685 Shots
No. 6 Oregon State
1,516 Shots
No. 7 Louisville
1,415 Shots
No. 8 UCLA
1,233 Shots
