Tulare County Fire Department rescues family … of ducks

In response to a phone call reporting that ducklings were trapped in a storm drain in front of the Goshen Fire Station, which is currently under construction, Tulare County Fire Department Engine 7 was sent to the intersection of Robinson Road and Betty Drive.

Upon arrival, they located ducklings that were trapped inside the storm drain, while the mother duck was acting frantically nearby.

Fire crews worked to remove the storm grate and safely access the ducklings.

They successfully rescued 10 ducklings and reunited them with their mother at a nearby park.
