A number of Coachella Valley eateries passed their Riverside County health inspections this past week, according to reports.
Those that earned a coveted “A” grade include two Starbucks locations in Cathedral City, Castañeda’s Mexican Food in Indio and Birrieria Sinaloa in Palm Desert.
No failing grades were reported in the valley. But elsewhere, Surfin’ Chicken in Riverside was shut down by inspectors on Feb. 11 due to insufficient hot water.
Here are the restaurants that were inspected in the Coachella Valley Feb. 6 through 12:
‘A’ grades
An “A” grade, or a score of 90 to 100 points, means a restaurant passed an inspection and met minimum health standards.
Cathedral City
Coachella
Desert Hot Springs
Indio
La Quinta
Palm Desert
Rancho Mirage
Note: No restaurant inspections were reported for businesses in the cities of Indian Wells and Palm Springs from Feb. 6 to 12.
