Seahawk teammates and fans love UCLA's Jake Bobo

UCLA football has a player who will play in Super Bowl LX. Jake Bobo of the Seattle Seahawks will take the field at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara against the New England Patriots. Seahawks Wire wrote about how Bobo has won over Seattle teammates and fans:

“Bobo joined the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL draft. He played collegiately at Duke and UCLA, and immediately made an impression at Seattle’s training camp as a rookie. Despite receiving limited playing time, Bobo has been a mainstay on the roster as a reserve and special teamer.

“Seahawks fans and the coaching staff have always appreciated Bobo for his team-first attitude. On Sunday, offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak called his number in a major spot. Unsurprisingly, Bobo delivered. Few players deserved that moment more than he did.”

Also notable about Jake Bobo’s touchdown in the NFC Championship Game: The play was a catch of a pass thrown by Sam Darnold, a USC Trojan. A USC-UCLA pitch-catch combination helped knock a Los Angeles team out of the NFL playoffs, elevating the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.

If Jake Bobo does score a touchdown in Super Bowl LX, chances are it will be in tandem with his USC teammate on the Seahawks. Life can be strange and fascinating.
