Rookies have been in the Los Angeles Rams’ building for a few weeks now and the team is working to get all of them under contract. On Friday, the Rams signed their third rookie, inking tight end Max Klare to a four-year deal, according to Howard Balzer.
Klare was the Rams’ second-round pick out of Ohio State, going 61st overall to Los Angeles.
The Rams have now signed three of their draft picks: Klare, Keagen Trost and CJ Daniels. That leaves only Ty Simpson and Tim Keenan III, the first and last picks by Los Angeles, as the remaining unsigned rookies.
In total, there are 47 NFL rookies who have not yet signed their contracts.
Based on the rookie wage scale, Klare’s four-year deal is worth $8.075 million and comes with a $2.33 million signing bonus, per Over The Cap. His cap hit this season will be $1.47 million.
