Rams dominate list of NFL's top dynamic duos for 2026 season

There are a lot of ways to contextualize how talented the Los Angeles Rams’ roster is on paper heading into this season. They have the reigning MVP and Defensive Player of the Year, an offensive line that allowed an NFL-low 23 sacks last season and two of the top receivers in the game. Not to mention, their returning backfield of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum was one of the most efficient of any tandem in football last season.

CBS Sports ranked the top dynamic duos across the NFL at various positions, and the Rams were well-represented on the list. Of the 10 chosen by CBS Sports, three of them were Rams tandems.

Near the top of the list was Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. Nacua led the NFL in receiving yards per game and Adams caught the most touchdown passes of any player, combining to give Matthew Stafford an outstanding pass-catching pair.

For one of the receivers to pace all wideouts in scoring and for the other, Nacua, to lead the league in yards per game made them as complementary as any tandem in the pros. If they even come close to replicating those league-leading achievements in 2026, essentially every other team will be envious of the pass-catching situation in Los Angeles.

CBS Sports also highlighted the Rams’ new pass-rushing tandem of Myles Garrett and Byron Young. For the last two years, it was Jared Verse and Young getting after the quarterback. Now, the Rams upgrade that unit with the addition of Garrett and they still have Young, who led the team with 12 sacks last season.

And finally, the Williams-Corum pairing made CBS Sports’ list, one of two running back duos to be featured; the other is the Falcons’ tandem of Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson Jr.

The first image that comes to mind with regard to the Rams’ offense is always going to be the passing game. What makes this unit so lethal is that it pairs the most productive aerial assault in the NFL with one of the league’s best backfield tandems. Kyren Williams and Blake Corum last season became the first teammates since at least 1950 to string together three consecutive games with at least 70 rushing yards and a touchdown apiece, according to league research.

You could make the case for Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson to be considered one of the best cornerback pairings in the NFL, as well, but they came up short of CBS Sports’ list. Even Kevin Dotson and Steve Avila make up one of the better guard combinations in football, too.

This is all to say just how loaded the Rams’ roster is, though they still have to execute and get the job done come the fall and winter.
