The 2026 Northern Section softball season has come to an end, and the all-league teams for each of the section’s eight leagues have been announced.
Among the honorees is West Valley’s Aubree Wertz, one of the top two-way players in the section. Wertz earned the NAL MVP award after a spectacular season in which she hit 0.545 with nine home runs while also posting a 1.96 ERA on the mound. Wertz is joined by teammates Cadynce Gippner, Maddie Pemberton and Addy Taylor while infielders Coral Tozer and Kylee Jaramillo earned honorable mentions.
U-Prep received three all-NAL selections, including Catcher Aubrey Caudell, outfielder Madisyn Rubalcava and freshman pitcher Rylynn Davis.
Chico pitcher and outfielder McKena Harvey earned MVP honors in the Eastern Athletic League after striking out 136 batters in 84.1 innings. Harvey also smashed six homers and finished with a 0.602 batting average. Foothill and Red Bluff each had two all-league picks while Shasta and Enterprise earned one each.
