The 2026 Northern Section championships for boys and girls soccer and basketball took place over the weekend, Feb. 27-28.
Basketball teams in Divisions III and VII competed at Butte College on Friday, Feb. 27, while those in Divisions IV-VI played at Shasta College on Saturday, Feb 28. The Division III soccer games were played on Friday, while Divisions I and II wrapped up on Saturday, with all games being played at Harrison Stadium in Oroville.
The 2026 NSCIF Masters Wrestling Championships occurred the weekend before, Feb. 20-21, at Shasta High School.
