The first round of the 2025 edition of the NBA draft is officially in the books.
Wednesday’s first round was headlined by Duke and Rutgers prospects in the top five with Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Kon Knueppel and Ace Bailey all going off the board early. Along with some of the top prospects in the class hearing their name called, multiple trades were made like Mark Williams going from Charlotte to Phoenix and New Orleans moving multiple first-round picks to select Maryland’s Derik Queen.
While Wednesday night was busy, the Golden State Warriors stayed quiet. The Warriors did not make a pick or trade into the first round. Instead, the Warriors patiently waited for their time in the second round on Thursday.
