A Camarillo man died after a motorcycle crash on Aug. 10.
Deputies with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6000 block of Santa Rosa Road in Camarillo around 7:35 p.m. after receiving a call that a motorcycle had crashed, said Capt. Mike McConville. The city of Camarillo contracts its police services with the sheriff’s office.
Deputies found a man lying in the center divider just east of Oak Canyon Road and administered aid until paramedics could arrive, authorities said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after, authorities said.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the crash and has requested that anyone with information call Senior Deputy Bradley Bordon at 805-388-5146.
