Micah's predictions for Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears vs Bengals

The Chicago Bears need to make a statement against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. A win will bring back all the excitement about the Bears during their four-game winning streak. A win created by better play from Caleb Williams could inject energy to start another win streak. There will be many key storylines to follow in the Bears’ Week 10 game on Sunday.

Here are my five expectations for the Bears versus Bengals on Sunday:

Caleb Williams finally has another Dallas-like performance

The Bengals’ defense is susceptible to allowing big performances from opponents. The Jets have the worst offense in the NFL, and last week they managed 502 total yards and 39 points. The Bears’ offense needs a good performance, and Caleb cannot afford another disappointing game. Caleb Williams will have to tap into the magic he had versus Dallas and put an end to the discourse that he is not the guy in Chicago. Recently, there has been concern about Caleb Performance and his future with the Bears. Another dominant performance by Caleb will put all the fears to a halt. Caleb should be able to put together his best performance of the season against Cincinnati on Sunday. A 300-yard passing yards and 4 touchdown performance definitely will bring back excitement for this team and the future.

Kyle Monangai runs for 100 yards

D’Andre Swift is out for Sunday’s game. He has been the true definition of banged up. Every week, he has ended up on the injury report, and finally, the Bears sit him out for a game so he can heal up. This is a great opportunity to see what Kyle Monangai can do with a full workload. No Roschon Johnson either to compete for carries. I think Kyle Monangai will be a big reason why the Bears win Sunday. Monangai will eclipse 100 yards rushing and run for a touchdown.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson gets a pick in his debut

Chicago Bears’ newly acquired defensive back, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, will make his presence felt early. He fits in very well with the Bears, who are a defense that tries to force turnovers at a high rate. He will pick off Joe Flacco or Jake Browning in his opening debut.

Bears’ defense gets 5 sacks

The Bengals’ offensive line is better than people think, but it is still a unit that is below average. The Bears don’t have the most dominating defensive line, but it is a unit that still can get after the quarterback. Now with Austin Booker returning officially on Sunday, I like the Bears’ defensive line to bring down Joe Flacco 5 times. The Bears’ secondary being a more improved unit for this week, with Stevenson returning and C.J. Gardner-Johnson being added, will help the pass rush be more of a factor. Montez Sweat has been ramping up the last couple of weeks with much-improved play. He will be the headline for this defense, as he will get 2.5 sacks on the day.

Bears’ defense gets 4 takeaways

The Bears’ defensive line will win its battle, and with my prediction that C.J. Gardner-Johnson will intercept Joe Flacco, that will propel even more success for the Bears’ backend and defense. Once one big play happens early in the game for the Bears’ defense, it becomes a snowball effect. Tyrique Stevenson and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds are two other players who get an interception. Within the Bears getting 5 sacks on the day one of them will be a forced fumble by Montez Sweat.
