Micah Huff's most anticipated 2026 games for Ravens and Ja'Kobi Lane

Ja’Kobi Lane has entered the NFL, landing with his dream team. So far, the early view of Lane has been positive. The Baltimore Ravens are once again a team to watch in the AFC. The Ravens’ success could depend on players such as Lane overperforming. This season, he will have multiple high-profile games where he can show up and deliver for his team.

Here are my most anticipated games for the Baltimore Ravens and Ja’Kobi Lane in his rookie season:

Week 3 away vs the Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are entering the season with high expectations, as the roster has gotten better. Their offense will give many teams problems. For the Ravens to knock off the Cowboys, their offense is going to have to bring it. This game will feature some of the best receivers in the league, and I am excited to see whether or not Ja’Kobi Lane will rise to the occasion.

Week 7 home vs the Cincinnati Bengals

Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow deliver every time the two face. I expect this season to be no different. Only this time, Lamar Jackson has some young weapons to deliver the ball to. Ja’Kobi Lane could very well become a big part of this game. Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase, and Tee Higgins will have no issue putting up points in this game and giving the Ravens defense problems. This typically was a game where Isaiah Likely was a factor; now it will be up to Ja’Kobi Lane to fill that void. I believe Lamar Jackson will look Lane’s way quite a few times, and he will come up big for him in this game.

Week 8 away vs the Buffalo Bills

The Ravens have been able to win this game in the regular season, that is, by being the more physical team. I think this game will be won in the air. Josh Allen has D.J. Moore now, and I think the Bills’ passing attack will be as lethal as it has ever been. Josh Allen will play like an elite quarterback, and Lamar Jackson will match that. These two are forever stuck with each other, until one separates himself with a ring. A win will have great meaning for either quarterback. Once again, the weapons in this game will be a huge factor. I am excited to see whether or not that weapon will be Lane.

Week 12 away vs the Houston Texans

The Texans have one of the best secondaries in the NFL, and there are now many former USC Trojans who reside in that secondary. Kamari Ramsey and Calen Bullock will have the responsibility of holding the Ravens’ weapons in check, including Ja’Kobi Lane. Lane will be going against some familiar faces, but that could be to his advantage. Lamar Jackson will have to get the ball out quickly in this game as the Texans’ pass rush will be stifling. That means a great opportunity for Lane to get his fair share of targets.

Week 17 away the Cincinnati Bengals

It is quite a pleasure that NFL fans get to see this match twice a season. I do not think these teams will disappoint. This game will come on New Year’s Eve too, with NFL fans all over the world glued to their seat watching it. Just like the first game, I think it will be a high-scoring match, and the offense that has things rolling the most will win. Whichever quarterback delivers and plays the best will lead his team to win. Ja’Kobi Lane will have to do his part and play to the level of the other great receivers in this game.
