On Saturday, USC football will kick off its 2025 season against Missouri State at the Coliseum. While the Trojans are mostly healthy heading into the season opener, there were a few injury updates that head coach Lincoln Riley gave on Friday.
Who will be suiting up on Saturday? Let’s take a look at what Riley had to say:
Jahkeem Stewart
The highly-touted freshman defensive lineman is out for Saturday’s game.
Alex Graham
The freshman cornerback will also miss the season opener.
Chasten Johnson
The UCF transfer corner is reportedly a game-time decision for Saturday.
Kobe Pepe
The redshirt senior defensive lineman is cleared to play vs. Missouri State.
Impact for Saturday
USC should be able to beat Missouri State handily with or without the aforementioned players. The most important thing for the Trojans is entering Big Ten play healthy.
