Lakers reveal injury report for Sunday's game versus Grizzlies

For weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers have been playing inconsistent basketball. They have won just six of their last 13 games, including a 128-121 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, but they’re clearly struggling, especially compared to earlier in the season, when they started 15-4.

They have been dealing with what has seemingly been an endless string of injuries to their starters and rotation players. LeBron James missed their first 14 games due to sciatica, and right now, Austin Reaves, who has been putting up superstar numbers, will be out for at least the next few weeks because of a gastrocnemius strain.

The Lakers will host the Grizzlies again on Sunday, and their injury report looks the same as it did 48 hours ago. Reaves, forwards Rui Hachimura and Adou Thiero and guard Gabe Vincent will all be out of action.

Coach JJ Redick said he hopes Hachimura will be able to return on Tuesday, when L.A. will visit the New Orleans Pelicans. The following evening, it will play the San Antonio Spurs, who have the Western Conference’s second-best record and the NBA’s third-best record at 25-10.
