While one local eatery received a “B” during their Riverside County health inspection this week, another was given the green light to reopen, according to reports.
Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill in La Quinta scored a “B” during its inspection due to a number of violations, including issues with employee handwashing, food spoilage or contamination, lack of food separation and others. The facility will be revisited by inspectors soon, when it will have an opportunity to fix these violations and raise its score.
Additionally, Happy Sushi in Palm Springs, which was recently closed by health inspectors due to a cockroach infestation, has been cleared to reopen.
Here are the restaurants that were inspected in the Coachella Valley Jan. 16 through 22:

‘A’ grades
An “A” grade, or a score of 90 to 100 points, means a restaurant passed an inspection and met minimum health standards.

Note: No restaurant inspections were reported for businesses in the cities of Indian Wells and Rancho Mirage from Jan. 16 through 22.
