Celebrity sightings are part of the Coachella experience. You can see your favorite band perform and then be in line behind your favorite actor at the churro stand five minutes later.
And, as you might expect, no one brought out the big-name celebrities like Justin Bieber on Saturday night.
Here are some of the famous names who were in the crowd watching along with the rest of the Beliebers.
Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry
The former Prime Minister of Canada and his newly public girlfriend, pop star Katy Perry, were bopping along to Bieber’s headlining performance. If Bieber, who is also Canadian, had stopped to think about it, he probably would’ve considered it a surreal moment, performing and showing random YouTube clips (including Deez Nuts) to his former PM.
Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner
Chalamet was quite bundled up Saturday night, perhaps hoping to disguise himself and avoid too much commotion from festivalgoers as he had a bandana covering most of his face with a camouflage baseball cap pulled down close over his eyes. But if he really wanted to be incognito, he probably shouldn’t have stood behind his girlfriend Kylie while wearing a cap that is tied to merch from his movie “Marty Supreme.”
However, he was spotted by the livestream, which showed a quick glimpse of he and Jenner vibing with Justin.
Jacob Elordi
The “Euphoria” star, who is also now an Oscar-nominated actor thanks to “Frankenstein,” was singing along to all the words at Bieber’s show while wearing a “SWAG” baseball cap, the name of Bieber’s latest album. Since he’s already here, Elordi has a chance to really blow people’s mind if he showed up to the special “Euphoria” screening Sunday night at Coachella in the festival camp grounds.
