Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III had an impressive 2025-26 campaign before it was cut short due to injury. Butler III appeared in 38 games, averaging 20 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.2 blocks in 31.1 minutes per game. Throughout his career, the six-time All-Star has career averages of 18.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.4 blocks.
Compared to his first 30 games with the franchise two seasons ago following a trade from the Miami Heat, Butler III increased his efficiency considerably, improving his field-goal percentage from 47.6% to 51.9% and his 3-point percentage from 27.9% to 37.6%. Entering the 2026-27 campaign, Golden State’s front office is hopeful Butler III will return to form following his ACL injury and aid Stephen Curry in a playoff push.
